The reason behind this cause is that my godmother’s daughter (her name is Allison) had this. I only a few memories of her, the one that I remember the most is us kicking a rubber ball off my garage door and us laughing and having so much fun together. I wish I had more memories to share about her. I hope to find if any of her family is still around to share more of her story.
Again, as our charity progresses, we want to be place for resources, regarding information about these causes and a way for people to show support and encouragement for everyone that has been touched by one or more of these causes. If you have or know someone that has been touched and affected by one of these causes, please let us know your story.
We also plan to spot light a different cause each month and share the story of a person or family from this cause, here on our website.
In a partnership with timewithmichaelandme youtube channel we plan to showcase a person or family from this cause as a way to high light them.
Also the timewithmichaelandme youtube channel will provide a way for kids to learn about (alphabet, number, colors, shapes, about space and planets, some fun experiments that you can try at home also, as well fun activities like Home Depot kids builds, playing with bubbles, to making a homemade wind chime, interacting with insects in our backyard, fun surprises and so much more).
We have also set up a GoFundMe page Michaelshares to assist us in raising money to get things going for our charity. If you can and are able to please help us to by donating, we would really appreciate that.
Here is some information regarding Down Syndrome.
People with Down Syndrome are born with an extra chromosome. Chromosomes are bundles of genes, and your body relies on having just the right number of them. With Down syndrome, this extra chromosome leads to a range of issues that affect you both mentally and physically.
Down syndrome is a lifelong condition. Although it can’t be cured, doctors know more about it now than ever. If your child has it, getting the right care early on can make a big difference in helping him live a full and meaningful life.

Thank you for taking the time to read about the reason for this cause.
When we make a donation it is personal to us and we would like to hear from people/families that have someone affected with this to be able to add their names to be honored when we make donations, along with being able to share their story.
